Test first. Install with care.

A practical pre-installation checklist for replacement screens to help catch issues early.

Test Your Replacement Screen Before Installation

Testing a replacement screen before final installation helps identify compatibility and functional issues while reducing the risk of unnecessary installation damage.

  1. Confirm the model. Match the phone model and part specifications against your order.
  2. Inspect before connecting. Examine the glass, frame, flex cables, connectors, and protective seals for visible damage. Keep labels and packaging.
  3. Power down and connect carefully. Follow model-specific repair safety procedures. Avoid bending or straining flex cables and avoid forcing connectors.
  4. Perform a temporary functional test. Where possible, check image quality, brightness, touch response across the panel, and any other functions listed for that product before using adhesive.
  5. Stop if something seems wrong. Do not complete installation of a screen showing apparent faults. Record a clear photo or video of the issue.
  6. Contact us. Use our Contact page with your order number, model and evidence. Follow instructions before returning an item.

Important: Compatibility, part pairing, device condition, or manufacturer software can affect features even when a replacement screen is functional. Installation and removal damage are not covered by the manufacturing-defect warranty. Repairs involving batteries or internal components require appropriate tools and safety precautions.
